About the treatment method used
Since 2000 (and this is already ) developed and actively used in practice author's technique local injection therapy (the innovation of the technique is confirmed by the State Patent for the Invention № 86764).
The clinic has extensive experience in treating diseases of the joints and spine. To date, thousands of people have already been successfully treated in this way, most of whom to this day do not remember the pain that once tormented them.
The treatment provided is outpatient (i.e. does not require a hospital stay).

What is the essence of the method used to treat joints and spine?
The essence of this technique is injection treatment of anatomical structures responsible for pain in this particular case. These structures are very variable, because Each patient has a different form of the disease. The treatment method used does not place emphasis on the use of scarce potent drugs. Of primary importance is the choice of injection sites and technique for their implementation.
During the treatment procedure, a series of injections are made into certain non-standard places (the injection sites are individual in each specific case). In this case, the injections are made without penetrating into the joints and spinal canal, as well as without penetrating any “dangerous” places at all.
How to deal with elderly patients
As a rule, medical institutions do not like to carry out non-surgical treatment for elderly patients due to its low effectiveness. Many elderly patients have heard the phrase addressed to them more than once: «What do you want, how old are you? This can no longer be cured!».
The original method of treatment of joints and spine used in the Arthroclinic Akta® is used at any age, including elderly patients in the absence of absolute contraindications for this. This happens because the technique is used to treat a specific disease, the symptoms and manifestations of which do not depend on age.
Age is not a diagnosis. The diagnosis is a specific disease of the joints or spine. Therefore, we treat advanced cases of diseases in patients of ANY age.
Why is it not «just pain relief»
The technique is pathogenetic (i.e. it acts on the mechanism of the disease, and not just on its individual symptoms). It is important to note that it is a full-fledged treatment, and not just pain relief. Therefore, the effect of such treatment is pronounced, and its results last for a long time.
This technique is based on traditional methods of official medicine, but has no analogues. Its significant difference and the key to success is a special method of producing injections and an individual approach to each patient. The main thing in it is where and how the injections are made (the type of medicinal substances administered is much less important).
When providing pain relief (for example, when taking an anesthetic medication), in the best case, only a short-term effect is achieved (usually no more than 1 day) - due to the temporary suppression of pain sensitivity by drugs. Then the pain resumes with renewed vigor.
With our treatment, unlike pain relief, pain is eliminated for long periods - due to the suppression of the painful process itself (and not just pain sensitivity).
Why is this not a «blockade»
It should also be noted that the treatment method we use is not a classic «blockade»!
With «blockades» 1-2 injections are usually made in standard places.
During our treatment a series of injections (usually at least 10) are given in non-standard places.
About the medications used
The medications used may be different for different patients.
Medicines for each treatment procedure are selected individually, taking into account side diseases and allergy history. What medications will be used in this particular case is decided only after a face-to-face consultation.
Why don't we use other «newfangled» treatment methods?
In our treatment of joints and spine, we try to provide the most effective assistance to patients who come to us. Therefore, we use the most effective treatment in each specific case.
Due to the fact that the treatment method we use is more effective, we do not use less effective methods: PRP therapy (Platelet rich plasma, that is, treatment with blood plasma enriched with platelets), Lipojems, HILT therapy, shock wave therapy) and other newfangled treatment methods, which often turn out to be «one-day» projects.
